DART – Dallas Area Rapid Transit

Formed in 1983 as a regional-scale successor to the “Dallas Transit System” agency, DART operates the majority of transit services within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, with a system centered on the 149,7Km-long light rail system (the second-longest such network in north america) served by Kinki-Sharyo made LRVs and complemented by 89 bus lines and the Silver Line, a soon-to-open regional railway service operated with Stadler FLIRT DMUs.
